I started using predator camo in the early 2000’s. I first purchased a lightweight jacket. I was always drawn to the large pattern camouflage. A few years later I reached out to Predator and purchased a few yards of fleece fabric and had a backpack made. For years, as a primitive archery hunter, I’ve struggled to find a backpack that is quiet. I was unsuccessful in finding one that I was satisfied with. After contacting Predator, purchasing the fabric, and having the pack made, I was very satisfied with the product. The fabric has not only kept its color over years of abuse, it’s also held up to some decent weight being carried in it. Often times I go miles in and it’s nice to have the confidence of good gear.

I've been hunting all over with my bow and had awesome experience in getting close to animals but one of the best memories was elk hunting with a outfitter in Montana and half way through the week he asked me to change camo as he can never see where i was sitting (and he new where i was just couldn't see me)this has happened a lot and if they cant see you when they know your there they never do when don't. I've had elk 10` from me screaming looking right through me.

First discovered Predator back in 1994… when I was in high school. My brother and some his friends wore it bowhunting. One notable fella wore it exclusively and he seemed to be the guy that always harvested the biggest buck. Predator Camo wasn’t easy to find back in those days and it was hard to find smaller sizes. In 2008/2009 I was in an archery shop looking at some new bows when I spotted some Predator Green Deception on a cluttered apparel rack. To my chagrin there was some in my size or close enough. I ended up keeping my old bow and investing in the Predator Camo.

I believe back in 1995 L.L. Bean was running a special one a fleece and the predator camouflage pattern and I just couldn’t resist it. I still have it today. I swear by this pattern I have had Deer so close it just blows my mind.

Sometime around 1999 my father found predator spring green in a local archery shop. Since 2000 he and I have been nearly exclusively wearing predator in mainly spring green. We both feel it us the best camouflage clothing out there for the Oregon wooded areas in both Eastern and Western Oregon. When stalking animals I have confidence that they tend to look right through me while standing still.
